Manzanos Enterprises, the business group owned by Fernández de Manzanos family, have recently acquired the centenary winemaking group Luis Gurpegui Muga SA. This investment has increased the number of Manzanos wineries to eleven in DOCa Rioja, DO Navarra and Wines from Spain.

Specifically, Manzanos Wines ( the company that has been devoted to vine-growing and winemaking for over 125 years) currently own these wineries: Bodegas Manzanos DOCa Rioja ( our main winery located in Azagra) Bodegas Berceo DOCa Rioja Alta ( Haro) Bodegas Luis Gurpegui Muga DOCa Rioja ( San Adrián) Bodegas Viña Marichalar DOCa Rioja (Azagra) Bodegas Viñadrián ( San Adrián) Bodegas Marqués de Butrago DOCa Rioja ( Aldeanueva de Ebro) Bodegas Marqués de Butrago DOCa Rioja ( Aldeanueva de Ebro) Bodegas Castillo de Enériz DO Navarra ( Enériz) Bodegas M&Z DO Navarra (Villafranca) Bodegas Mosen Pierre Wines from Sapin ( Azagra) Bodegas El Lagar de la Aldea Wines from Spain (Azagra) Bodegas Pintoresco Wines from Spain ( San Adrián)

Therefore, our vineyards plot has grown to 250 hectares of own vineyards and 700 hectares of controlled vineyards in DOCa Rioja, 50 hectares of own vineyard and 100 hectares of controlled vineyards in DO Navarra, 150 hectares of controlled vineyards in DO Guadiana and 150 hectares of controlled vineyards in Wines From Spain.

It must be emphasized that one of the main attraction points of this new acquisition is that the brands Berceo, Gonzalo de Berceo and Dominios de Berceo are leaders in sales on the Spanish market. These brands are available to more than 75% of our main distributors, besides 60 distributors from the HORECA channel.
