100% Tempranillo selectioned of old vines of the highest quality. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks for 7 days at 28ºC. Maceration with the skins for an extra 15 days to obtain the right colour. Malolactic fermentation in new French oak barrels. Aged during 16 months in the same new French oak Bordeaux-type barrels. A minimum of 26 months’ bottle aging.
Intense red-ruby colour, brilliant and deep. To the nose, clean, potent, complex aromas stand out, with hints of spices and fine wood. Complex and long in the mouth, with a good structure and balance between alcohol and well-polished tannins. The aftertaste is long and persistent, with lingering fruity notes. Grand Gold Medal in the International Contest Tempranillos al Mundo 2016 and 92 points in Wine Spectator, 2016
