Bodegas Franco-Españolas, the century-old DOCa Rioja winery, located in the city of Logroño, exceeds its annual record of visits and maintains its commitment to offer quality service and added value in its wine tourism experiences.Throughout the year it conducts guided tours, personalized activities for small groups, commented tastings, pairings, traditional cuisine in its restaurant, etc.
The wine experiences designed and planned by the winery, its emblematic wines Bordón and Diamante and its enclave on the banks of the Ebro River, just five minutes walk from the historic center of Logroño and the well-known Laurel Street, mark the main appeals for the local wine lover, National and International.
In addition, the winery is committed to culture, art and music, organizing various events throughout the year, such as the ‘Theater with Diamante’ event, which will hold its seventh edition next April; the ‘Summer Open Air Cinema’ in original version, decorated with music and wine, will entertain the afternoons-nights of every Thursday of July in the gardens of the winery
; the ‘Family Harvesting Day’ will bring the little ones closer to the tradition of grape harvesting
; the ‘VI Wine & Fashion Market Day’ to be held in the month of November, bets on young designers
; and the ‘Mysteries of Hallowine’ will put the playful point in the cellars of the winery at the end of October. In addition Bodegas Franco-Españolas, is host of two great contemporary music festivals of of international scope that are celebrated in Logroño, ACTUAL, just beginning the year, and MUWI (Music and Wine Festival), in the month of August.

In 2017 we have surpassed our historic record of visits reaching 40,000, and we hope to increase this figure in 2018 to 45,000, thanks to the personalized activities that allow us to offer the quality service demanded by our public. The visitor profile of Bodegas Franco-Españolas is as diverse as the social, recreational and cultural activities it offers.In 2017, visitors from more than 30 different nationalities have been registered; men and women between 30 and 70 years old who attend traditional visits, pairings and tastings; young people from 24 years who attend festivals and concerts, or families with children, are some examples.

Bodegas Franco-Españolas was founded in 1890 as a result of the union between France and Spain.The company of Anglada de Bordeaux and its Spanish partners joined at a critical moment in Rioja, when the French came to the region trying to replace their vines destroyed by Phylloxera. It was the origin of the «fine wines of Rioja».
Bordón and Diamante are its most emblematic wines and ambassadors of the winery in the world. 2 wines of international reference that not only represent the winery but also the Rioja Qualified Denomination of Origin. The first vintages of both brands date back to 1892.
Currently, of the total wine production, 65% goes to national sale and 35% to export, whose main markets are: Mexico, the United States, Canada, Denmark, Germany and China.
