Eguizabal Family is managing Bodegas Franco-Españolas 30 years ago and we are celebrating 126 years of history of wine making. It is an historical Riojan winery and the unique one located in the city center of Logroño.

Discovering this winery means learning a history lesson of Spanish wines. Since the 19th Century our philosophy has been focused on adapting the trends and keeping the authenticity, making well-known brands of wines from Rioja, such as, Rioja Bordon, Diamante, Viña Soledad and Barón D’Anglade.

The foundation of the winery is the indirect result of an unfortunate incident in the winemaking history in France:  the grape phylloxera plague by the end of the 19th century.
The wine merchant from Bordeaux, Frédéric D’anglade  with Spanish partners founded the winery in 1890.
